So Many Republican Hypocrites, So Little Time

Welcome back to the BuzzFlash.com GOP Hypocrite of the Week.
Like his bro', George W., it's a much easier task trying to find
the rare moments that Jeb Bush is not hypocritical, rather than identifying
all his daily transgressions.
Take for example the latest arrest of one of Jeb's children, which
makes it a clean sweep for all three of his offspring having trouble
with the law. On September 16, Jeb's youngest son, John Ellis Bush,
was booked in Austin for public
intoxication and resisting arrest.
John's last known encounter with the law was when he was stopped
by police
for having sex in the parking lot of a Florida mall.
When asked about John's latest encounter with the police, Jeb's
office said that it was a private family matter. But when it comes
to Americans that Jeb thinks are "morally dragging" the
nation down, Jeb is quite outspoken about their private family
lives.
So why are the law enforcement problems of Jeb's kids a private
matter, but everyone else's parenting is a public issue about which
Jeb regularly passes judgment? Why? Because Jeb is a model Bush
hypocrite, that's why. They have their own set of rules and laws,
those Bushes.
And why doesn't Jeb send John Ellis off to basic training and Iraq
to shape the kid up and support
his brother's "noble war"?
Sounds like a golden opportunity, doesn't it? But, oh yeah, we
forgot for a second that Jeb lives and breathes a double standard.
Recently, Jeb revealed that he relies on a force to assist him
in achieving Olympian levels of hypocrisy. As he recently told
an audience, "I
rely on Chang with great regularity in my
public life. He has been by my side and sometimes I let him down.
But Chang, this mystical warrior, has never let me down. Chang
is somebody who believes in conservative principles, believes in
entrepreneurial capitalism, believes in moral values that underpin
a free society."
Maybe Jeb and Chang deserve a joint honor as our BuzzFlash "GOP
Hypocrites of the Week," but we don't really know where to
find Chang, so Jeb it's all yours.
