So Many Republican Hypocrites, So Little
Time

Alberto Gonzales
Welcome back to the BuzzFlash.com GOP Hypocrite of the Week.
"We do not need to choose between protecting America and protecting
civil liberties," Alberto Gonzales, Bush's Attorney General
told
the Washington Post, "The Patriot Act does both."
No it doesn't Alberto. The UnPatriot Act, as BuzzFlash calls it,
is akin to Gonzales's infamous memo condoning torture by redefining
it as not being torture. And so the Patriot Act is really a Bushevik-KGB
power grabbing law that allows the executive branch to snoop just
about anywhere it wants.
Gonzales laughingly wants to assure us that the judicial branch is
still there to protect us from abuses. Excuse us, but some of the
police state powers in the Patriot Act are not subject to judicial
review -- and those that are, often end up in the courts of Bushevik
hack judges who believe in the permanent Republican imperial presidency.
Those judges also believe that any non born-again Republican is guilty
until proven innocent.
Of course, our lackey of an Attorney General knows all this, but
when you sign up with the Busheviks, you know what wagon you're hitching
your horse to -- one full of lies, deceit, hypocrisy and propaganda.
It's
a betrayal of our Constitution to have as head of our Justice Department
a man who thinks that he reports to King George and not someone
who represents the interests of the American people.
Those who would
erode our liberties in the name of defending them are enemies of
democracy.
And that is why Alberto Gonzales is our BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite
of the Week.
Remember our motto at BuzzFlash.com: So many Republican
hypocrites, so little time.
