George W. Bush
Welcome back to the BuzzFlash.com GOP Hypocrite of the Week.
He made a 5-hour photo-up visit to the secure Green Zone and
now he's all upbeat about Iraq. Last time he was
in the Green Zone and was all upbeat, he carried around a plastic Thanksgiving
turkey for the cameras.
Now thousands of more deaths later, including hundreds and hundreds
of our servicemen, George W. Bush is feeling "good" about
Iraq, yet again.
The reviews of his "performance" were
glowing. Who cares anymore about accountability and results? Everyday
Bush gets a new chance to win the mainstream press version of "White
House Idol."
Forget that we have been hearing "mission accomplished" or
variations upon it for years now. The corporately owned media sure
can't remember for more than a six-hour news cycle
what Bush promises or says, so why should we bother?
Every episode of the Bush television series is a fresh start, whatever
the realities are on the ground.
Sure the bad guy he killed wasn't the bad guy who
was responsible for 9/11, and Bush promised to get "dead
or alive," but this bad guy sure had a great, bloated
mug shot for a dead guy, right? That was worth at least a week's
worth of front page photos and television footage, right?
No, wrong. Because America is still losing the war in Iraq, and praying
a lie in the world of "that's
entertainment" news won't change
that reality.
We really don't care how Bush reportedly "feels." He's
a liar, an incompetent, a boob, and a betrayer of our national interest
and national security. His only interests are strictly personal. They
have nothing to do with us, except that we are all pawns in the Bushevik
great game.
He's back! Yes, once again, George W. Bush is the
BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite of the Week. May God have mercy on our souls.
