Welcome back to the BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite of the Week.

Oh, there is hypocrisy in abundance surrounding the Bush Administration thunderball express moving us toward a war with Iran, but we prefer to make it a bigoted GOP hypocrites trifecta.

We started with George "Macaca" Allen and then moved to Conrad "Little Guatemalan" Burns -- both Republican U.S. Senators with bias problems.

This week, make it a trio with one Tramm Hudson who wants to succeed the pixilated Katherine Harris as U.S. Representative for Sarasota.

The story gets bogged down in a quagmire of radical Republican ideological nuttiness, but the highlight is that Hudson told a crowd of Christian Coalition members, "I grew up in Alabama. I understand, uh, I know from experience, that blacks are not the greatest swimmers or may not even know how to swim."

Somehow, Hudson, in defense of the racially offensive statement, claims that he was just innocently recounting a valiant story about his Vietnam service to illustrate why he is opposed to any legislation that would prohibit military chaplains from proselytizing.

Un-hunh. Yeah. Sure he was.

Hey, Tramm, did you hear the one about the GOP hypocrite cracker who couldn't jump? Never mind. You wouldn't get it.

Tramm Hudson, you're just another GOP Hypocrite and duly worthy of being chosen as the BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite of the Week. You join a long and endlessly growing list of your Republican colleagues.

As we say each week, so many Republican hypocrites -- so little time.

Catch up with you soon.
