So Many Republican Hypocrites, So Little Time

Welcome back to the BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite of the Week.
A long time ago, the noted playwright David Mamet wrote his first big hit, "Sexual Perversity in Chicago." Maybe he should update it and call it "Sexual Perversity in the GOP." Because, it appears, while the GOP has run out of people who can properly govern, they never seem to run out of sexual perverts.
Craig Schelske is a big GOP fundraiser and a go-to guy for the likes of Tom DeLay. He's also one of those "family values" Republicans and executive director of American Destiny, a nonprofit organization that promotes the role of religion in government.
Last week, Shelske's wife, country music singer and "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Sara Evans, accused him of watching pornography with their kids, adultery, addiction to pornography, and sexual obsession.
She claims she has Internet photos and evidence of her soon-to-be ex-husband
involved in all sorts of kinky sexual activities, "and has at least
100 nude photos" of Shelske "in a state similar to that of [their]
4-year-old Yorkshire terrier after playing with his favorite plush toy,
Mr.
Humpy-Fox."
All we can say is that these "family values" GOPers make
Bill Clinton look like a prude.
We'll leave the courts to sort out the truth in this one, although we'd bet things end up with a a sealed divorce settlement.
But one thing is for sure, Schelske may not have done everything Evans claims -- or he may have done more -- but he certainly is one big GOP Hypocrite of the Week.
Will the last Republican who is not a sexual pervert please turn out the lights when you leave the room?
