Welcome back to the BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite of the Week.

Let's say the Bush Administration appointed someone to clean up our polluted rivers and lakes and they were a chemical industry lobbyist who believes toxins are healthy. Oh, forget that analogy. We're pretty sure that they've done that already.

So, it is perhaps no surprise that the Busheviks appointed a doctor with rather odd credentials to head federal family planning programs for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. You see, Eric Keroack is "a nationally known advocate of abstinence until marriage, [and] served for more than a decade as medical director for A Woman's Concern, a Massachusetts nonprofit group that discourages abortion and does not distribute information promoting birth control."

Did we mention that Keroack also is no longer an obstetrician-gynecologist because he "accidentally" forgot to renew his accreditation?

Well, forget for the moment that incompetence is a prerequisite for a Bush Administration appointment. Isn't it a little more than hypocrisy to appoint a guy who doesn't believe in family planning to oversee the program for our entire nation?

Oh, it's just business as usual in Bushland. Remember that doctor who deep-sixed the over-the-counter sales of the morning-after pill for awhile, the one who sodomized his ex-wife and had to resign from a Bushevik contraceptive panel? We do. His name is Dr. W. David Hagar, and he was our BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite of the Week on May 27, 2005.

We can't speak for Keroack's personal life, but at least Hagar was a licensed gynecologist.

We can conclusively say that both these Bushevik physicians are certified hypocrites when it comes to reproductive rights.

Keroack is just the latest to join the BuzzFlash honor roll as our GOP Hypocrite of the Week. He makes a mockery of medicine.

Until next week, remember our motto at BuzzFlash.com: So many Republican hypocrites, so little time.

Catch up with you soon.
