EARLY NOTICE OF THE HOTW
Karl Rove
Welcome back to the BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite of the Week.
We were going to bestow this week's honors upon Florida Congressman
Tom Feeney. The Sunshine State lunkhead, with a long pedigree
of wing nut behavior, responded to
potential subpoenas for ProsecutorGate this way: "Rep.
Tom Feeney, R-Fla., told Democrats he would support subpoenas in the
future 'if some evidence of misconduct comes up.'"
Uh, that's like seeing a body with a bullet hole through the
head and saying, "I will support an investigation if you
can show me an injury."
But Feeney is just a foot soldier in the army of Karl Rove hypocrisy.
Rove has lied so many times about ProsecutorGate that he'd have
a nose that stretched to China if he were Pinocchio.
Of course, Bush won't let Rove testify under oath, because the
truth would probably bring down the Bush Administration. On the other
hand, if Rove told multiple lies, he would end up with perjury charges.
And what would Bush due if his "brain" went off to
the pokey?
It's hard to believe that a third of Americans still support
the cowards in the White House. Rove, Bush, and Cheney all found ways
to avoid serving in Vietnam, while other young men died in their places.
And now, they all find ways to avoid testifying under oath, because
it would require them to tell the truth.
They are craven tinhorn thugs, who wouldn't know honesty and
integrity if it hit them in the head.
Karl Rove is such a liar that if he ever told the truth, it would be
a man bites dog story, the kind the news media craves.
And for that, he more than merits being named this week's BuzzFlash
GOP Hypocrite.
Until next week, remember our motto: So many Republican hypocrites,
so little time.
Catch up with you soon.
