Welcome back to the BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite of the Week.

Once again, it was one of those weeks of such a deluge of Bushevik hypocrisy, so finding a Republican leader who was not behaving hypocritically would be like looking for a small diamond in a barn size pile of manure.

After all, when the Attorney General of the United States so audaciously and proudly perjures himself before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee -- and the White House asserts executive privilege to prohibit Congress from holding anyone in contempt for, you got it, asserting executive privilege -- well, you know it's been a prodigious week for GOP hypocrisy.

At times like this, BuzzFlash prefers to recognize the unheralded GOP hypocrites, who get lost in the shuffle when the big fish are throwing around Republican hypocrisy with such abandon that it's like spaghetti being splattered on the wall.

That is why this week we are honoring another "small fry" Republican sex pervert hypocrite (and there are so many to choose from).

His name is Coy C. Privette, 74, a Republican from North Carolina who, until just recently was, headed the Christian Action League of North Carolina.

In the spirit of Senator "Hooker" Vitter, Privette recently was arrested and "charged with six counts of misdemeanor aiding and abetting prostitution by renting a hotel room and paying for sexual acts, according to warrants."

Now we must admit that Southern chivalry is not dead. Privette paid for the "lodging expenses," we'll grant him that.

But we took note that "Privette had been the group's [Christian Action League of North Carolina] president for the past six years and served as its executive director for 15 years before that."

You can assume that he was running around championing the sanctity of marriage and all sorts of "family values," just like Senator "Hooker" Vitter. And did we mention Privette is a Baptist minister and once ran for the Republican nomination for governor of North Carolina?

This is our third week in a row of highlighting Republican sexual hypocrites, and we haven't even scratched the surface.
